The proposal
Play the Old Course at St. Andrews — guaranteed, two days after the 2027 Open
Every golfer carries a dream from the very start: standing on the 1st tee of the Old Course, crossing the Swilcan Bridge and holing that final putt on the 18th to the applause of the locals, right in front of the iconic R&A clubhouse, where golf was born more than 600 years ago. Most golfers spend years in the ballot, hoping luck will be on their side. This program starts from a different premise: you play the Old Course without leaving it to chance, and you know it a year in advance.
And not on just any week: two days after the curtain falls on the 2027 Open Championship, when St. Andrews is still breathing the tournament. You'll play "The Home of Golf" with all the Open grandstands still standing, your foursome of friends walking the very same course the best players in the world have just walked, the energy of the major still in the air.
Seven nights in Scotland's finest hotels, five rounds on legendary courses, and a group of four golfers ready to tick off the trip they've always dreamed of.

The hotel has a modern fitness centre, sauna, whirlpool, steam room, indoor pool and beauty salon. Rooms are elegantly designed and include en suite facilities. The Golf
The Craigtoun Course
- Set on the historic Mount Melville estate, the course opened in 1995 as St Andrews’ only championship inland course. Designed by five-time Open Champion Peter Thomson and later enhanced in 2006 by architect Tim Liddy, it offers a strategic heathland layout with sweeping views over St Andrews and the coastline. The course blends Scottish heritage with modern design and has hosted major amateur championships, making it a must-play destination for golfers seeking a unique challenge in the Home of Golf.
St Andrews Links - Old Course
- Golf was born here. It is the oldest and most traditional field in the world, home of the R&A and every 5 years it hosts “The Open”. Located in the heart of the town, it is a public place where residents and visitors constantly walk, and stop to take photos on the famous "swilcan bridge" of the 18th.
- Its layout is characterized by a "natural" ground movement that is unique and impossible to imitate and a perfect floor from tee to green. Very playable for all levels of golfer, its design (which has many huge double greens) has been studied, and has inspired the best designers in history.
Prestwick Golf Club
- Prestwick is the birthplace of the Open Championship, where an old cottage would become the clubhouse being the legendary Old Tom Morris its the greenkeeper. The original layout had only 12 holes. It has hosted 24 Open Championships and it runs one short compared to the Old Course St. Andrews. The course embodies Scottish golf tradition, with holes that wind around hills, fairways with unnoticeable bunkers, several blind shots and very small and difficult greens.
Western Gailes Golf Club
- Western Gailes is an unusually designed course where the Club House is almost in the center. The first 4 holes run parallel to the train tracks. The next 9 return near the coast passing by the Club House and finally the last 5 (the most difficult part of the course with the hole at 14 a par 5 that usually plays downwind tempting long hitters) return again glued to the tracks approaching the Club House.
Royal Troon (Old Course)
- The Royal Troon Old course has hosted multiple editions of the Open and witnessed golfing moments like the famous duel of 2016 where Stenson prevailed over Mickleson. It is a classic Scottish links layout and tough design with championship greens. The course features the shortest hole in Open history: "The Postage Stamp” with a pitching and putting surface skimmed down to minimal size (hole 8), and only 126 yards long.
Other things to do
Welcome to the land of Harry Potter: the beautiful and picturesque St Andrew’s is a wonderful town to explore. Visit its cemetery, walk through its narrow stone streets and visit its famous university (one of the oldest in the world). If you are a Scotland and William Wallace fan, the monument in Stirling is a must sightseeing attraction.
